Being a Dad means all sorts of things to all sorts of people, but one thing is true regardless. Dads, like most people, move through life accumulating bits and pieces of knowledge until finally, when they finally reach a stage in life where they feel they have something to share— nobody wants to listen.
It’s frustrating, to say the least.
This blog is created to give Dads who don’t want to create their own blog a little space on the web where they can finally dispense that treasured advice that we’ve been carrying around. Oh, it may not be our kids who benefit from it, but then again, it might be. That’s the thing about the Internet– you just never know when something your write is going to have an impact on someone else’s life. After all, we’re Dads… all we really want is for someone to listen and take what we say to heart.
Here’s your chance, Dad. Registration is free. Once you’ve registered, you are free to write about whatever it is you’ve been wanting to say but just couldn’t find anyone to listen. We do moderate, so your post will be reviewed first before it is allowed to be published. Don’t worry, we’re not going to edit what you write. We just don’t want to be a jumping off point for nuts looking for a place to vent their hatred, bigotry, etc. The Internet has plenty of places for that. We’re not one of them.
So, provided you’re posting simply to say “Hey, I think I’ve figured something out and I’d like to share it with anyone who will listen.” then here’s your shot.
